The Rainbow Fish is a lovely story about a beautiful fish who eventually shares his shiny scales with other fish in the sea, he refuses at first, but then realises that having friends is more important than being beautiful.
I used The Rainbow Fish resources from Twinkl to save me drawing the fish, then cut out scales of different colours sticking them on the fish with blu tack.
First we counted how many shiny scales our Rainbow fish had and then worked out how many we could give to each of the other fish, still leaving the Rainbow fish with at least one.
Can you think of any other rainbow fish themed activities?
